TDCA  felicitated the members of the Kerala women cricket team which won the All India T20 Championship for women U23 hailing from the district of Trivandrum and students of District women Accademy,Trivandrum.Many women cricketers and members of clubs in Trivandrum participated.

The gathering was addressed by the Vice president of KCA Shri.Rejith Rajendran,President of TDCA Adv KK Rajiv,Hon Secretary Vinod S Kumar,Treasurer  V G Reghunath,Representative to KCA Pramod kumar K R, Chairperson of State Senior Women Selection committee Smt Sabeena Jacob,former selector Nitha Balakrishnan,Former DCA Secretary R.Sreekumaran Nair and Veteran coach Sohan Kumar.

Minnu mani shared the thrill and experience of the team in their journey to success which was well appreciated by the audience.

Four players from the district of Trivandrum Arathy Jaypal,Deepthi JS(in absence),Keerthi James(in absence) and Venitta Merella along with members of women academy ,Trivandrum Jipsa V Joseph,Aneena Mathews,Minnu Mani,Aswathy Babu,JiluGeorge,Drishna N K and trainer Mohammed N Dilshad were honored.

DCA also honoured Smt Sabeena Jacob for her continuous and valiant efforts for the upliftment of women cricket in Kerala.Shri V G Reghunath State co ordinator for women cricket was also honoured for his contributions in co ordination of women cricket
