First S Rajesh memorial Junior league was inaugurated by the President of Mangalapuram Panchayath,Shri Madhu Vengode at a function held at KCA ground, Mangalapuram.Adv Rajeev President TDCA presided over the function while Vinod S kumar Secretary TDCA introduced the tournament .S.Santhosh younger brother of S Rajesh and former Ranji player addressed the players and parents who gathered for the function and expressed extreme happiness in the gesture of TDCA in naming the tournament after S Rajesh who was a staunch promoter of youngsters.K R Pramod kumar Member KCA . Binu kumar T G Joint secretary TDCA,Salim kumar SB and Shine SS vice presidents of TDCA were present.

The tournament is played on league cum knock out basis with 16  participant teams.Teams are allowed to field boys of age under 16 and girls of age under 19.
