Shines CC beat Riders CC by 19 runs in the semi final held today at KCA ground Mangalapuram .Batting first Shines CC struggled to muster up a total of 123.At one stage Shines were54/6  but a brave fight by Balabhaskar 46 gave them a  moderate total of 123.Though the target looked a comfortable one,Riders who were with out the services of three state players playing in the VijayMerchant trophy ,lost wickets at regular intervals and fell short by 19 runs before being bowled out.Christin Sam Philip exelled for Shines CC with 5 wickets.
