Rohan Prem, the Kerala Ranji Trophy captain, registered a rare triplet of batting milestones in the
Ranji Trophy tie against Goa which ended at the Brabourne stadium, Mumbai.
He became the first Kerala batsman to reach 4000 first-class runs when he was on 62 in the second innings.
Earlier, in the same match, the left-hander emerged as the highest run-scorer in all First-Class Cricket
from Kerala as he went past Sreekumar Nair’s record of 3,921 runs. during his century knock in the
first innings. He followed it up with a crafty 70 in the second innings during the course of which
the Thiruvananthapuram lad surpassed former Kerala skipper Sunil Oasis’ record (3906 runs) of most
runs in Ranji Trophy for Kerala.

ROHAN PREM has become the third Indian batsman to cross 1000 runs career milestone in Twenty/20 format (Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy), and the top run-getter.
Total 19 players all over India scored 1000 plus runs in BCCI senior tournament, season 2015/16 for their State team. (Ranji Trophy, Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy). Rohan Prem (1137 runs) in 5th position and won the SK Nair award for the best Cricketer of the Season and also won Kelappan Thampuran Special award for outstanding performance of the year.
Mr. N Bijumon received best Kerala Cricket Association Academy coach award from Mr. Nazir Machan, Honorary Secretary, Wayanad District Cricket Association. Mr. KN Ananthapadmanabhan become the first on-field Umpire from Kerala to officiate in Indian Premier League (IPL) and he received Special award from Mr. TC Mathew, President, Kerala Cricket Association.
F Fanoos (Kerala Under-19), J Ananthakrishnan (Kerala Under-16) received special award for the notable performance of this season 2015/16 from Mr. Ronklin John, Vice President, Kerala Cricket Association and Mr. U Manoj, Assistant Secretary, Kerala Cricket Association respectively

RL Aneesh, PA Ajay and A Radhakrishnan from Trivandrum District Cricket Association (TDCA) has been qualified as Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Level A umpiring exam held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi from 18 to 21 May 2016.

Arumugham Sivakumar and Viswajith Bahuleyan are begining their career as Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Level B umpires.
They made it into the list of only 20 umpires in all over India to clear the examination, today by officiating their first Board match – Mumbai Women v Punjab Women at Western Railway Ground, Rajkot and Bengal Women v Hyderabad Women at Bhausaheb Bandodkar Ground, Panaji respectively. Sanju Samson, who replaced injured Ambati Rayudu in the Indian squad for the remaining of Zimbabwe tour, on Monday, and he becomes the 3rd Kerala Player. Sanju said Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) president TC Mathew had informed him and congratulated him for his selection to the Indian team. The wicketkeeper-batsman, who was unaware of his selection, said he was at a loss of words when Mathew congratulated him.

The much awaited call came on the rainy evening of Tuesday, the 5th of August, 2014. The Senior Selection Committee of BCCI, who met at Mumbai to pick up the Squad for the ODI and T20 Series at England, decided to give the most talked about youngster of the Indian Cricket to prove his mettle in the senior side.
It is for the first time that a Cricketer who hails from the District is being selected to the represent the Senior National side, though it had produced talents in the past who had almost made their name in to big league. Though it was his stupendous performance with the bat in the recently concluded quadrangular series in Australia the immediate rationale of the Selectors, Sanju had always been in the reckon to be selected into the National side ever since his performance in the 2013 IPL; where he was awarded as the most promising youngster of the tournament. Sanju had made his First Class debut in the 2011-12 season in style with a ton against Himachal Pradesh and is a prominent mem ber of in the team ever since.
Earlier on, he had represented the District and State in Under-13, Under-16, Under-19 and Under-25 categories. Sanju would be the third Cricketer from the State to represent the Country.
